Krasovskii Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics and Ural Federal University are jointly organizing the 1st Ural Workshop on Parallel, Distributed, and Cloud Computing for Young Scientists (Ural-PDC 2015). The aim of the workshop is to build the community of young researchers who work on modern problems in parallel, distributed, cloud computing and to provide an academic forum that fosters them to share their ideas and results.
The Ural-PDC 2015 workshop was held on November 17, 2015 at the Conference hall of the Krasovskii Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics (16 Sofia Kovalevskaya Str., Yekaterinburg, Russia). We received 23 submissions, each of which has been reviewed by at least three program committee members. The committee decided to accept 14 papers. The workshop was attended by more than 30 people from 5 cities.

Call for Papers
We invite submission of papers that present original previously unpublished research in all areas of parallel, distributed, and cloud computing. These papers will be presented during the workshop as oral presentations. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- High-Performance Computing
- Distributed Computing
- Cloud Computing
- Big Data Processing
- Parallel Computing Education
- Applications of Parallel and Distributed Computing

Authors are invited to submit papers in the PDF format written in LaTeX using the Springer LNCS style (LaTeX template download). The paper must be 5–10 pages including figures, tables, and references. We do not accept submissions in Microsoft Word.

Each paper will be reviewed by at least three program committee members. We follow the post-proceedings publication model. Therefore, we will publish only those papers that are presented at the workshop. Final versions of accepted papers should include LaTeX sources.
Official and working language of Ural-PDC 2015 workshop is English.
